Hear hear! But to clarify: What you voted NO on was NOT a gay marriage amendment -- the amendment proposed has absolutely nothing to do with the legality of gay marriage.

What you voted on was whether or not to foreclose the possibility of ever offering rights to couples who are engaged in civil commitments, straight and gay alike, and whether or not it's legal to revoke rights now in place for such couples.

Anyway, right on.
